From John Hawkins ... Well, was it 1-1 or 2-1? The flimsy goals meant there was some debate as to Jeff's first goal as the wind had nearly flattened the goal. Post match analysis in the VAR suite (public bar of Turks Head) has confirmed the awarding of the goal. No debate about the second and but for some ..err....robust defending by the reds Jeff could have had a third. Good competitive game topped off with an excellent finish by debutante Ian, who appears to have a shot on him like his namesake. The introduction of goal areas meant last week's reenactment of the Alamo was never likely to be repeated; although no prizes for guessing who kept appealing for "in the area". [Clue, his surname rhymes with Naylor]. Well played all, great fun, see you next week
